Miracle Lights "Really? You bring me out here all this way on a rumor?" Alex grumbled, sitting down to rest his body. He was a rather large young man, mid twenties, and though he was comfortable to walking, he wasn't much for hiking. Brent, however, was used to hiking the trails of Ecclaud, and through intense coaxing, managed to get his larger friend to come with him, chasing a rumor. "What makes you think these things actually appear... these so-called Miracle Lights?" He was, of course, talking about something that was supposedly said to occur during a full moon near a waterfall they were walking towards. Hikers near Ecclaud reported seeing them, butMiracle Lights by ~GaelinKT

Ilgil sat beside a small campfire, facing a rocky outcrop with the forest at her back. Opposite her, between the flames and rock, was her mentor, Gladimar. The pair sat in comfortable silence. At the edge of the trees were their mounts: two large, shaggy canines with red irises and thick, muscular limbs and bodies; these animals were called orc-wolves. "Jackson, stop it!" I said, slapping his hands away from my side to prevent him from tickling me. His fingers stopped wiggling and he grabbed my hand with both of his. "Anything for you, sweetie." He kissed me full on the mouth, and we lay in the sweet grass, breathing in the summer air. I felt his hands in mine, soft, but firm, warm,

Farewell A clank came from the ice, settling down in my drink. Of course, it was just Sprite, but it still jostled my nerves some. I looked at the glass, watching the moisture condense on the outside and run down onto the countertop. A half-empty two-liter bottle of Sprite sat beside it, having been emptied slowly as the night continued on. The ice cubes looked more like thinning ovals, slowly dissolving into my drink of choice. It wouldn't be long before I needed to get more ice, and I was certain that, as the night dragged on, I would be needing it.Farewell by ~GaelinKT
I was rifling through memories on my laptop. Althoug
