I'm not sure about how Spring has been treating you, the reader, but I can safely say that it can't make its mind up whether it is Summer or not. Many of the people around have already resorted to calling it so, but I'm still skeptical. Either way, just be careful, as with the rising temperatures, we're sure to have other things going on.

~ Boxcars, Boxcars ~
Prompt: You're on a train. The tracks rattle and clank beneath you, the scenery passing you through the windows. It's up to you to remember what it is you got on a train for, but as for what happens, that is up to the other passengers with you. Choose what happens to you in this lovely train ride, and let the tracks record your movements in what will hopefully lead to a greater start.

Previous cards drawn:
: Ace of Suns :
Prompt: The year passes by in the blink of an eye. In your way of doing things, write how you'd spend the celebration as the clock ticks away. It could be a romantic story, or perhaps an epic duel to save the world with seconds counting down. Maybe the final moments of someone's life wisping out of their mouth as a final breath, or the start of something new. Spark your creativity and dawn the new year with insight.

: Deuce of Snow :
Prompt: Ah, one snowy evening, you are caught reminiscing about a love that has come and gone, like the fragile snowflake that fell and melted away with the morning sun. What were the circumstances with meeting this person, and how did it fade from fruition? Plead the muses to give you the inspiration to touch our hearts with a final farewell to this chilled, brief romance.

: Clover Triplets :
Prompt: Take a vacation from the normal, and from the routine you usually take. With the warming weather, you decide that now is the best time to take the first vacation of the year, only to be swept away in the lore of the surroundings and have a brush with the mysterious. Adapt to the folklore that surrounds us in everyday life, but we dare not chance a stray into that darkened path. From the ever-present fairy rings, to possibly something more dark or undesirable, show the world your take on the unique underworld.

: Quarter Bloomer :
Prompt: Easter; a time of new beginnings, fresh starts, and other important factors. But what it brings with it is also a sense of silliness. Dive into the zany antics of your imagination and draw out confusion, amusement, and least of all, psychotropic/psychedelic scenarios. Or, at least one scenario. Dive into your own sense of "Wonderland" and show at least the "beginning" of your journey through it.

: Elemental Star :
Prompt: The way of life is to draw some strength from the natural elements around you in your world. Some forces are stronger than others; fire may evaporate water than being doused by it, the wind may erode the earth or be blocked completely by it. Fire, water, wind, earth, and death; for without death, you cannot "live". Draw from your believed strengths in a battle that challenges you and your abilities to write a final showdown. You, versus your opposite, at the edge of the world. What results in your mind from these opposites attracting and attacking?

Hey! Sorry for advertising, but a mate of mine (who is a writer) just recently made this website blog thing for fantasy writing, worldbuilding, and characterisation tips.
It focuses a lot on realism and warfare as well.

He doesn't have a dA account so he's been bugging me to advertise the site for aaggeess. Yup. So please check it out xD
And please post it on your journal if you think it’s any good and will help other writers! Thanks!

By the way, since I’m putting up websites for fantasy writing stuff, here are Limyaael’s Rants for those who don’t know of them already. Quite famous in the fantasy writing world! :)

(Once again, sorry for the bother ^^; My friend just won’t bloody shut up, so … yup.)

Hmm, rather late in saying this, but welcome to all new members to the group. Should there be any comments or concerns, raise your voices and let them be known. Or rather, extend your fingers and write it down, for the whole group to know. :3 Can't work on it as a team if we don't address things of worry, right? Yaaaargh! *rallies forth the members!*

Glancing through your gallery (just seeing if you were accepting pieces yet [obviously not]), and I noticed there's a few areas missing you might want to consider adding:

> Traditional Poetry (Structured poetry)
> Free-Verse Poetry (Unstructured poetry)
> Short Stories (Just that)
> Chapter Stories (Stories with multiple parts and/or chapters)
> Interpretive Genre (Pieces who's genre is adaptive, changing, and/or up to the reader's interpretation)

I could probably think of more, but those are just some I can name off the top of my head.

Be sure you let us (members) know when submissions can begin.

You can submit whenever as far as I know. The lack of submissions is probably due to the lack of members. Plus, we have all month for the challenge so no one should be in a huge hurry. Just don't submit a whole lot at once, because that could be overwhelming.

I like your ideas for the poetry and the interpretive genre, but the short stories and chapter stories could probably fit into the other genre folders already created.

Whenever you want to. I mean, I don't know if you're able to right upon joining or if I have to toggle something. :) I was kind of expecting someone else to put something in by now besides me. And thank you very much for those suggestions, I personally like the idea.

Sure thing, and yeah, there's no option anywhere for me to submit to anything to the group yet. Chances are it's something on your end you gotta turn on, I believe. You do that and I'll throw a few of my pieces your way. ;D

See if you can submit anything now, or if I missed something. Should've messaged this last night after changing it. X3
