An eerie fog settles in on <name of city> on September 30th, and by the dawn of the first of the month, a carnival has sprouted in the town center. Festivities bulge at the ground borders that the town has "graciously?" provided, and yet no one remembers ever hearing about it. Yet, when the sun sets, strange things happen. Baying howls that chill every bone and cell in the body; screams so realistically close, you can't help but turn expecting it to be in your sights; and the real intent of the "Cursed Moon Carnival" is lost to the fog.

Another shame, that there were so few submissions this month. In fact, there were hardly any outside of the one for the challenge and three submissions from another member. However, it is understandable with the conditions put up by this so-called reality that there are other things more important than just enjoying oneself with writing. *shrugs* No real big deal. ^_^ I am just glad and thankful that there are members still involved in this group, however poorly I'm running it.
I've sent a note to a leader of another group to discuss possibly working together with them for National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), though I myself have no idea on how that could work... Perhaps any ideas can be suggested by the other members here? Just a day and a half to go until November is upon us, and with it, a great challenge to test our writing capabilities once more! *ya!* Don't let it intimidate you, and if you have more pressing things to take care of first, by all means, reality comes before fantasy.
